Yo’re right. This is also my first time to hear about Phenom. 
Phenom is a new breed in AMD Family. That’s why you never heard about it before. AMD Phenom, is taken from the word “Phenomenal”. AMD want their user to “experience the Phenomenal” with this new breed.
