Do you know about time-stamp feature in wordpress? 8 out of 10 newbies will not care much about this feature.
But they don’t know that “post timestamp” is another hidden gem of wordpress if you know how to use it well!
To be honestly, I haven’t able to use it accordingly to my schedule. If I can manage to properly time-stamping my blog posts, I would have a lot more time to do other things than sit down at the front of my laptop every night and whining of the blogger block every 2 days once!
Ok, if you are a newbie in blogging with wordpress, this picture will help you locating the post timestamp on wordpress:

So, how do TimeStamp allow you to take a breath from blogging and still, everything’s going fine?
The easiest ways is to define how many days you want to take of from blogging. for example, you want to have a holiday for 1 week. If your post frequency is around 5 posts a week, than you will need to prepare 5 posts and timestamped it with a different date and time.
You can easily set everything in the”Post Timestamp” box.
So, even if you are in holiday, your blog will be able to work without your inclusion for that period of time. Another ways is to invite some guess blogger to post at your blog. But, if your blog happen to have no high rank PR and alexa, less people willing to help you out.
That’s where bloggership come to rescue. Make sure you have a bunch of good blogger friends that you’d contact on every available moment. Bloggers are a good human. If you kind to them, they will kind to you too!
It’s the law of attraction, anyway… Help and be helped.
I wrote this post simply because of the holidays that I’m having now. We have a 1 weeks holidays for celebrating Independence Day and taking some Recreation to fresh my mind. It’s kind of fun. And I’m almost yielding myself into the holidays temptation! LOL!
That’s why you would see some drop in frequency of my post. ![]()
But no worry now. I’ve timestamped 5 posts and will begin to show up from Monday, 20th. and 10 posts for my tech blog (begin to show up today).
Time stamping also build up a momentum for yourself and your blog. It’s require to update your blog often. Beside drawing more attention from Google’s Robots, you will get more reader come to your blog and subscribe to your brilliant post. And hopefully, they will link to you and building your link popularity while you are in a holiday!
Anyway, Happy holiday and Independence Day for people who live in the same country as me! I’m going to enjoy this holiday and wash my brain from stressness so I can write more good post later!
See ya later and Adios!

I use this feature on a regular basis, not only it is useful when you are on a vacation, but also when you want to post article for a local time of a country from where you have maximum visitors.
I have written 3 more articles and scheduled for this week.

Wow! Can’t wait to see what kind of post is it, Nirmal!
I haven’t active since vacation. But the post is scheduled like I wanted.
It’s really a nice feature that blogger should make a good use of it.
But make sure to avoid using this feature if your blog is a news blog. If you happen to scheduled 1 week post, then your post is an outdated post and not a news post anymore!
We can use this feature if your blog post is about an evergreen tips or tutorial. Which work for today and still have some same effect for next year.
Reply to Ken XuI read this at problogger.net and this new knowledge really worth gold to me.
