I find myself difficult to move my finger to start typing after away from blogging for more than 5 months since December 2007. I guess that what people suffer from not doing things for a long term period.

I guess I need to give a short report about my condition and situation that made me unable to blog for 5 months (yeah, it’s a long and boring holiday for me). I’m not actually having a holiday for that long. A long white beard could have been grown healthily on my chin!

The truth is, on the early december I suffered from a serious illness that I can’t even explain it in English. I lost 10 pounds because of this illness (a virus exactly) and I have become a more sexy than before (all my ribs looks like a guitar strings. I can play guitar with it now! ).

It takes two months to cure this strange illness and 1 month to recovered. I got to stay in the bed laying there doing nothing but staring at the pale ceiling. It’s really a nightmare for me who love to do lots of activities and move around a lot.

Well, it has passed and now it’s a whole new life for me to begin something great. As you can enjoy now, MySitesAdvisor have a new blog redesign again. I guess I need to have a new and fresher theme for welcoming myself to the blogosphere.

I code them myself, used up to 1 month to finalizing this theme (less free time to do things I like). I hope you would like this theme and visit more often. I have check for the server load time. You won’t have a trouble to load my blog even if you use dial-up internet connection.

I will update you more about the feature of this theme and I’m going to release my previous theme as a free download with a demo site.

Make $10 a day - Is It Possible for You?

I found an interesting poll held by Darren Rowse at Pro-blogger blog. The poll is about how much is your earning since October. It’s a nice question and I happen to vote my voice into the poll too.

After voting, I saw something interesting in the result. I found the highest vote went to:

I don’t make money blogging, and
Under $10

Make money under $10 online for a month is not a great news. While many other vote goes to $100 - $499, Earning $10 for the entire October is just way too small.

That’s why I think we must shift our thinking about blogging. Many bloggers around the world rely on Google Adsense too much. Yes, it’s a free money and easy to apply. But it’s not how you begin your money making journey if you want to earn more then $10.

I’m also making this mistake at first. But I’m finally realized that I must combine several effort and tactics to make more than $10 a month, or even $10 a day!

It’s no secret, the only (free & fast) way to achieve the goal is to do affiliate marketing combined with article marketing. Your blog will become the host of your affiliates source, and promote it with article marketing at several free directories to gain conversion and sales.

But it won’t happen overnight. You will need to set a goal to promote your blog (containing Affiliate links or your other money source) with several articles a day.

These directories that bring results for me, but I cannot guarantee they will bring you results:

There are so many article directory out there. You can try to search on Google with this keyword: “article directory” (with quote).

Your task is to submit at least 2 articles a day to the article directory and you will begin to see some sales in the next 2-3 weeks (and continue to make sales if you persistence on the task).

It’s sound easy, right?

Well, 1 warning for you. NEVER use article submitter software to submit your articles to hundred of article directories. Search Engines will banned you because of duplicate contents and you will never receive any traffic from them.

So, when you will you achieve the stats of $10 a day?

Let’s say you promote a great product/service for $100 and the merchant pay you 50% of the sales price. If you manage to sell 1 product every 5 days, that’s mean $10 a day!

Is selling 1 product every 5 days difficult?

Yes, if you don’t know how to write a pre-selling letter. That’s why you need to learn. Making money online is easy, if you keen to learn and keen to practice.

If you just sit around and hoping there is a magic happening on your life, forget about making money online. You won’t reach $10 just by lying down in your comfort zone and hoping for magic.

Hmm… You know, I’ve been ask by some of my friends regard this question for several time already. It’s been the hassle of blogger to make this happen quicker.

Oh, don’t stupid. Blog is your ultimate tool to make money btw, and Blogging is your activities to pull the money streams into your pocket! Just think like that and it will be easier.

Blog is a webpage too! Remember? If you have read the Authority BlackBook, you will know that Filling content to Web page and is no different with posting content to a blog. It’s only about using a more advance technology in publishing.

When expert want you to create a landing page, what’s the different with creating “page” on your blog?

Assuming you have 5.000 visitors a month to your blog with only 2% of total Clickthrough Rate:

5.000 x 2% = 100 Targeted Visitor to your Merchant Site

Assuming only 5 peoples out of 100 buy the product that you promote with each sale you earn $50:

5 x $50 = $250 a month

See the final result? Only 5 sales, $250 entered to your pocket!

Comparing with adsense?

Count this again:

My highest ever CTR in adsense stats is never higher then 2%. Assuming you have 5.000 visitors a month:

5.000 x 2% = 100 Clicks

Assuming you have earn a high $0.50 each click-through:

100 clicks x $0.50 = $50 a month

Now, which one is better? answer it by yourself!

Attention:
5000 visitors a month is not hard reach if you know how. For example using StumbleUpon. But a warning here, if you are using Stumbleupon to generate those traffic, you will not get a high CTR no matter how you optimize your page.

I personally using those steps but not as extreme as Sean!

His method just work no matter what is your situation. You only need to add more energy to yourself to do what you should do to increase your stats and CTR.

How about Paid review or Sponsored Review like Payperpost or Sponsoredreview.com?

well, some of them need you to have a good among of post in your database and need you to blog for certain among of time before you could really start making money with them. And with the latest information about Google is penalizing paid links and sponsorship, I’m doubt about their performance in the future.

Building a blog for adsense solely is wasting time. Instead you should follow what Yaro teach you in his blueprint.

when come to the end, a conclusion is needed.

IMHO, affiliate marketing + article Marketing + Blog Engine is the best way to make money online for me. I don’t rely much with Adsense now since the CTR and payment is low.

Final words, I’m currently doing Affiliate marketing and Blogging at the same time. Although I have been blogging for 6 months already, May ‘blogging’ earning is no match with my affiliate earning. Although I blend them together sometimes, Blogging is no other then building relationship and get some popularity.

After you gain enough exposure, you will get money from it.

The ultimate earning source for me is through referral program. Not adsense (yet- but I’m sure I could earn good money later in the future with Adsense. )
