You know, it’s pretty interesting to see how we develop our body. I found myself become more bloated then before because of blogging.

I found an interesting post about this topic at moneymakingscoop. He asked whether online business make you fat or not.

Of course, my answer is yes, absolutely.

I have grown my ‘fatness’ around 10 more pounds lately. It’s a shame, but can’t do anything about it because I’ve full-packed my schedules with several hair pulling jobs and only have around 15 minutes a day to do exercises.

heck, I choose to do Simple Yoga which couldn’t burn enough fat in my stomach fat bank!

The result is clear, I gain more fat and I will become a sumo-fighter if I continue to let it for 10 more months!

I guess it’s not about the blogging that make me fat. But it’s myself that cause the fatness on my body. Well, we’d like to ‘always sitting’ in front of PC or Laptop and keep clicking and pouncing keyboards to fill our blog.

We sometimes are too lazy to stand up and do some small stretching before going on a long hours of typing.

There are several part of our body that will bloat as we blog to much. The most visible area is our stomach. I hate it, but really can’t do a thing and continue witnessing the grow of fat in that area.

That’s the area that never get a sufficient exercise. Of course, from all of our body, the most slim part is your blogging fingers!

Working on pouncing everyday, every week, every month. I’m kind of pity of them sometimes.

Well, I need help actually. If you know some tips to remove fat (in a natural way), please kindly email me your tips.

Fatness is not good for our health. Especially for our blood vessels. The more fat you are, the higher the possibility for you to get stroke or other hard to cure diseases.

Please make sure don’t learn my steps. It’s a failure progress that I want to eliminate, including the fat. Make sure to exercise properly, and take an extra care of your stomach and fingers.

My private doctor ask me to take care 3 part that may get a serious syndrome because of too much blogging (sitting and typing for a long time):

Eyes

Hand

Backbone

You eyes will be infected by the light or contrast level of your monitor. Change are, you will get a disease called ‘Floater’. Floater is a disease that every times you look at a bright area, there is a little thread-like or black dots floating around your eyes corner.

It’s not fun and sometimes the floaters are really annoying (I got this disease too actually…). But it’s no harm. Just don’t overuse your eyes to avoid the infection to be worsen.

Hand and backbone are the part that supporting you when blogging. Hand playing on the keyboard while backbone keep supporting your body to sit firmly on your chair.

If you force them to maintain and keep working for a long time, change are your will feel hurt around your shoulder, wrist, etc.

My advise it not to sit for more than 2 hours and should take a rest about half hour before continue your works. Of course, I will take my own advises and will see the result in the upcoming month.

My friend told me about “Health is one of your wealth” and I’m totally agree with him. It’s the most valuable opinion that I’ve ever heard since the last 7 months of my blogging journey.

Health is everything and it’s part of your wealth. If you are chasing for the true wealth on your life, never miss the health as one of your wealth that you must have too!

Cheers!

A healthy blog could help you achieve any goals that you have set for your blog. In my personal perspective, there are 8 tips that I could share you about having a healthy blog. What are they? Find it out inside!

Everybody dream of having a healthy blog. It’s just like having a healthy body, you can almost do anything you want and achieve anything you dream of if you have a healthy body to support you.

Healthy blog also do the same. It could help you achieve anything that you dream of, like:

Experience Boost

Friends across the globe

Increasing Popularity and brand

Earn more money

Find better Soul Mate

etc

To have a healthy blog, there are tips that you could follow to achieve the healthiness of blog, just like following your yoga instructor to exercise in a right ways to have a healthy body.

Let’s see what is the tips:

First: Choose a Great Hosting

Yes, a GREAT hosting. Don’t bother with ‘good’ web hosting that could offer you cheaper. GREAT hosting makes your blog future GREAT because you will not face any trouble on your blogging journey with them.

Many bloggers ignore this part. As a result, they get several diseases regularly like:

Server down

Database Corruption

MySQL errors

Account Suspension

Unable to hold spike traffic

Website inaccessible / Unknown reason

Slow Customer Service, etc

Their blog become unhealthy with or without their direct attention. Some funny case is, when you browse by your own, you will see you site still there, but when your reader tries to access through their side, they get an error message. I’ve ever experience such a funny case when I host my blog on a local cheap hosting. I suggest you not to use them (cheap hosting) to avoid those diseases.

Need a recommendation? Read my Top 3 Web Host Review.

Second: Choose a GREAT blogging Platform

Blogging platform is the core tool for your blog. You will need to choose the right on to avoid any difficulty that could harm you in the future.

There is no other blogging platform that could beat Wordpress for the moment. Because we know that Wordpress is:

Free

Ease of Use

Many Features

Powerful Platform

Almost all Expert Bloggers / Professional Bloggers use Wordpress as their Home of Hope and Success.

Third: Choose a Great Blog Design

Design is your face. If you want a healthy face, you will use a lot of tools and cosmetics to make it look handsome or beautiful. Your face is your identity and your face is your first impression for everybody you’ve met.

Try to give a good impression with a neat and professional design for your blog. If needed, buy a premium design is better than using the free downloadable one.

Do you like the design of this blog? If so, you could actually have it as your blog design!
Click here to go to the download page and make sure to read the manual careful before download. Hurry, it’s a limited theme edition for limited download time only!

Fourth: Choose a Suitable Topic

Yes, a suitable topic. Not a niche topic our long-tail-mouse method anymore. Although choosing a niche topic could help you a lot, blogging on a ’suitable topic’ to your hobbies and interests is better.

Don’t afraid of the competition ahead. If you are blogging at your suitable niche and topic, no matter how competitive it is, you will see it as a challenge instead of obstacles and you will grow faster than anybody else who stay safe inside the cage of untapped niche.

Fifth: Choose the Right Master

Everybody, with no exception, is finding a mentor for their online successes consciously or unconsciously.

We sometimes keep thinking that we could find out a way for ourselves without anyone’s help. But the truth is, you need somebody more than you could even imagine.

That’s why you will see stuffed entries inside your feed reader and a bunch of email from peoples that you subscribed long time ago in your inbox, and lots of e-books inside your hard drive.

Avoid thinking of self-survival in blogging. Having a “Master” behind you would ensure a better future.

Recommended Paid Masters - Yaro Starak From BlogMastermind

Sixth: Learn from the Master

Believe it or not, many blogger have a strange habit. They bought ebooks, or they pay for Courses, but learn nothing from it.

Why? Because of 2 common reasons:

1. Not Teachable and Close minded

It’s because of their mind are close. You know, nowadays gurus and masters are averagely a young guys and girls. Sometimes people just don’t like to open their mind and learn from people who are younger than them.

Well, I cannot judge anything about that. It a free thinks and free will era. But make sure to put your priority in the “content quality” and not in the age problem.

Learn it properly and let them guide you to your success is better than debating the age and experience problems.

2. Lazy Bone

Oke, face the truth. I’m lazy, you are lazy, everybody is lazy! We want a quick solution! Quick menu, quick breakfast, quick service, instant results, overnight success, overnight millionaire, etc and etc.

All is created because of our Lazy mentality. In fact, nothing is instant in reaching your own wealth (except you win a lottery! )

If you have make a commitment to buy ebooks or pay for the course, learn from it instead leaving it as a garbage.

Seventh: Choose a Suitable Promotion Methods

Blogging without marketing is sound like breakfast without food. No blog will success without proper marketing.

There is bunch of marketing tips around the net that you could use for your advantages. Actually if you have choose the right master to learn with, he/she will teach you the best marketing strategies and tactics to boost your blog visibility.

Well, if you still haven’t enrolled as a pupil of any Gurus or Master, the following marketing techniques are my personal choices which are pretty good to help me promote my blog:

Article marketing

Google Adwords

Comment Marketing

Article marketing and comment marketing is free. It’s the fastest medium to promote your blog. You could really enjoy a minor instant result here. But you will need to do it consistently to achieve a greater result.

Eighth: Exercise Regularly

Exercise in blogging is your posting frequency. Make sure to work out your blog properly everyday, or with your chosen frequency to achieve a healthy blog.

An exercise menu that you should have is as below:

publish post regularly every week (suggested 5-6 posts a week)

Post a guest post at your friend’s blog within the same niche every week

Give comment regularly on 30+ related niche blog

Create 5-7 articles and submit it to Ezine Directory

Well, that’s the tips. Hope it’s useful for you to strengthen your blog and prolong your blog life.

I was in my busiest day in my life for the past few weeks. Some extra jobs from boss and blogging make me couldn’t relax much like before.

I know that it’s impossible to say I have no time to blogging, since it’s one of my hobbies and the “will be a second stream of income” activities, I’m kind of serious on it and developing it carefully.

Well, although I have carefully to develop my relationship and my concept of 5 pillars blogging, I still happen to miss some deadline and appointments (such as guest blogging at friend’s blog) due to office works that never-end!

To be frankly, this post also one of the post that missed the opportunity to join into one of the writing project by Vivien at Inspirationbit.com. Pearl invite me to enter the project few days ago. Unfortunately, I missed the deadline on the last 26th September.

It’s a huge lost for me, since I love to gather up and sharing idea together, group writing project is very interesting and I would love to write for all related writing project that available for me.

Time management is really important to schedule up everything on your daily life. To tell you frankly, I’m an Inefficient Procrastinator who sometimes wasting time in front of the LCD monitor and write nothing but staring at the blank white page.

Somehow, after reading Yaro’s post (above link), I start to make myself a bit efficient in blogging and handling my busy time at work.

I still couldn’t make a fixed schedule for my blogging time, though. But I have spotted some important points that you should take into consideration in managing your time and schedule.

If you are a full-time worker like myself, you may find a similar difficulty as below:

Difficulty one: Work

Personally, my full time job is different than the 9-5 fixed schedule. Sometimes I must work 9-9 with the same salary every month. It annoy me a lot. That’s why I try to find additional stream of income to free myself from the tight working schedule.

Anybody have their time on work. Some will like mine. and some will be the fix 9-5. So how do you handle this difficulty to set up some time for blogging?

Difficulty two: Post Frequency and Pillar Post

To post frequently and with a highest quality, we need time. Yaro from Entrepreneurship-Journey.com need 2 hours to create one Pillar post everyday.

How about you? How long you need to make a good post? Do you have any ideas to make one pillar post in a matter of minutes?

Take this question into your consideration.

Difficulty three: Communication - Relationship

Blogging is not only about Making content and publish it to the public. Building relationship is also one part that form the building of your blog-empire!

I found some decreasing in comments on my blog when I decrease my activities around the blogosphere. Commenting at other related blog is so important to us to build a road to the bigger channel of blog.

For example, if you want to make friend with some stars, you could either directly commenting at his/her blog often and regular, or if the person is not accessible directly, find his/her close friend’s blog and make friend with them. Later in the future, you could ask them to introduce you to the stars.

Commenting at a blog is kind of time consuming too. You will need to read the content before posting your comment. Never jump in to the conversation if you don’t know what is the author talking about. It’s kind of spamming instead of building relationship.

I need around 5 - 10 minutes (average 7 minutes) to completely digest a 500-700 words post and commenting sometimes will consume around 1-2 minutes.

It’s kind of headache if I need to comment at 40 related blogs a day (expert’s recommendation). In a rough calculation:

Reading: 7 minutes x 40 blogs = 280 minutes (around 4 hours)

Commenting: 2 minutes x 40 blogs = 80 minutes ( 1 h & 2m )

Total = 5 hours and 2 minutes!

I’m a slow turtle. I couldn’t do anything as fast as the expert taught me. Although I have try my best to go faster, It’s seem my turtle leg is too short to walk longer and faster! :p

Any help from you about commenting concepts?

Difficulty Four: Guest Post

Scheduling time for Guest Post is pretty important. Guest blogging act as our tool to build blog visibility. That’s why on every guest post, I must provide my best ever articles to give a good impression. If I can’t squeeze out a good post, I wouldn’t not blog. It will hurt both of the author and guest.

Making good post need another time. If you have nothing to blogging + guest blogging, consider quit from it.

Difficulty Five: Relaxation - Stress Deduction

Stresses could bring doom for your life, whether at work or at blogging. Try to stay stress-free to make thing easier.

Something that we need is the tips to keep stress-free although we are in the most busy and tough moments. No relaxation could bring us nightmare at the night. And when you wake up from the sleep, you will feel extremely terrible. If you don’t want to feel this feeling, make sure to consider a 30 minutes relaxation before sleep.

If you couldn’t do it because of blogging, consider again to quit blogging as it would hurt you mentally later in the future.

Have any stress relief method to share?

Difficulty Six: Sleep

As a human, the best duration of sleep that we need is 8 hours a day. But somehow, because of the full-packed activities, we tend to decrease our sleep time to finish the jobs. A ‘Sleepy body’ couldn’t do much quality stuffs. So, how should we arrange the time properly without sacrificing sleep time? Take this one into your consideration on making your schedule. Never sacrifice to much of your sleeping time.

Conclusion

Well, it has a very relative for everybody. What I believe is, we should make a flexible schedule to suit to our condition. Don’t bother to blog if you really have no time at all. Why would make yourself even more stress by adding extra activities?

Except, you have a planning to end your 9-5 job just like me. You will have the power to turn stress around and become your source of energy to blogging.

This is the sentence that my leader shouted in front of my face 2 years ago. I was an IBO (Independence Business Owner) in Tiens Group MLM company and have reach the 5 stars Level in 3 months of work performance (There is 8 Stars overall).

That phrase still wandering around my mindset although I have quited from the group 1 year ago.

Believe it or not, this sentence help me a lot after that. I keep programming myself that if you don’t get out from a comfort zone, you will be nothing but a scumbag sitting on the road.

Comfort zone is a situation in our life that we love to yield it and tend to addicted to it, consciously or unconsciously.

Comfort zone will ‘kill’ almost any kind of your ‘BIG Dreams’ since those dreams require you to sacrifice a part of the zone or even pulling you out entirely and snatch all connections between you and the zone.

It’s very important for you to identify your comfort zone before throwing yourself into a long-term project like blogging. Because at every cross road of your journey to success, the comfort zone will come and saying hello to you along with the request to go along with it, and back to where you are.

You will become so vulnerable and easily suggested and bend your road to the comfort zone if you don’t recognize the zone properly.

There are many ways to recognize your own comfort zone. In my personal opinion, the easiest way is to detect which part of your activities that could waste your time for nothing but enjoyment & entertainments.

Some example:

Eat

Sleep

Watching Drama-Series on TV

Playing Game

Clubbing

Browsing

etc

Although it looks like a normal activities, it will become the greatest comfort zone if you have yield in it for a long period of time.

It will make you lazy to think and lazy to act. It will make you lose interest of everything and make you staying longer and longer in the current zone.

I’ve sacrifice my Watching-TV Time for blogging before. But for the last 2 weeks, I found myself, again, trying to going back and staying on the same spot that I have avoided before.

The reason is so simple:

Too Busy of work, and

Need to be entertained.

Every time if I feel my job is boring because too many of them, I will tend to think for the pleasure of watching TV in a cool 20 degree Celsius air conditioned room while I’m hiding in the warm bed and blanket.

Yes, that’s my largest Comfort Zone. I identify it when I feeling so down at work. The image will appear on your head for the first time, second time, third, fourth and so on that will make you nut of it!

My second largest comfort Zone is Browsing. I tend to browse around the web and doing nothing just browsing. Neither Read, nor Collecting information. Just plain, click-click-click-n-click!

That’s why StumbleUpon suit me, anyway!

What Md. Lorelle said in her comment at Pelf’s blog is true. Let me quote her comment:

[...]If you understand how to blog more efficiently, you will find you have more time to blog and more time to work and actually find time to have a life.

Comfort Zone will kill your time and you will become inefficient. As soon as you realize it, take an immediate action to break out from the zone. It’s hard at first. But as long as you stay away from the zone, you will gain a momentum to go away further and do more thing that is valuable for your blog.

So, what’s the relation with blogging?

Entirely.

Blogging require persistence and endurance. If your persistency is cracked by the situation of your life, the comfort zone will appear like a flower blooming. Cannot be stop by anything else except you know where is the root of the flower. All you need to do is to cut down the root to stop it entirely.

So, find your source of temptation and comfort zone, and get out of it as soon as you found them. Take an Action instead of waiting, Do it, and prove it that you could be the pro-sixth-figure-income-blogger in the future or anything that you could dream of!

Reading has become part of my daily habit now. No day without reading. To tell you the truth, I hate reading when in my younger age. I never touch books over than half hour and will get dizzy in my first 15 minutes reading!

But now, I could handle longer reading with my tips to break reading into a small partial. Since that new skill attached on my habit, I have read hundred of books about Internet marketing, Personal Growth, blog marketing, and so on.

I managed to read more then 200 of mini reports, and more then hundred of e-books in every part of Internet marketing and how to make money online.

Yup, you may feel that is so many books I have read. But actually, that’s still an amateur reading level in this era of information. (only 30% from the total of my ebooks collection)

One type of e-book that I’m always searching for is about “How to increase my Blog Popularity”, in a non-scam methods.

I have read a lot of scam e-books too! They are totally wasting my time reading books from an amateur who pretend to be a professional and expert in the field. You could spot their BS directly from the beginning.

Just don’t waste your time on that one. Is better for you to read problogger.net or doshdosh.com. They sure will give a far more better information for your improvement.

Well, along with my blogging journey, I have found some of useful e-books for our improvement. I will share you my personal favorite collection of e-books and hope you could get some benefits from it too.

My top 1 Favorite e-book is:

Yaro Starak’s Blog Profits Blueprint

Well, I don’t know why. May be I was hypnotized by his writing style and 7 years experiences in Internet Marketing and 2 years in Blog Marketing.

His Blog Profits BluePrint is just too awesome!

BS? Yes, if you haven’t read the book! If you have read the book, I guarantee you will give a thumb up to the blueprint!

Yaro Claimed to make around $5000+ a month and keep rising each month (Now is around 6500+ already!). The most amazing method is the ‘minimalist method’ of working 2 hours per-day to get the maximum effort of 5000+ a month from your blog.

This Blueprint is actually a give away for free and if you are interested his style of writing, check out his Mentoring programs too at www.blogmastermind.com.

No blown away, nor One Time Offer. It’s just stood there to wait for people who are serious to make a living online.

Aaron Wall’s SEObook

I think no e-book in the net is going to beat Aaron’s SEObook. I actually buy it for $67 and I get this 328 Page of e-book. And finish reading it in 2 weeks time.

Well, it’s all about how to optimize your blog, your current posts, and your upcoming posts to a better view for Search Engines. Since the Google haven’t update their PR, many people have losing their mood because they can’t get advertiser to their blog which mean no money at the end.

But don’t get discourage yet. I heard from Yaro that the PR update is in progress now.

So, make sure to back to the surface and SEO your blog properly with the help of this book before Google update their PR. Who know you will get PR 6 this update?

Try to use this fun tool: Iwebtool’s Google PR prediction.

I got 5, and I’m happy with it although that may be not happening. It’s just a prediction, though.

Yup, that’s my 2 favorite books for this period. I wonder if someone could write a better e-books in the future.

Supportive e-Books

There are many of them actually. But I comes up with only 5 that is pretty useful. Here there are:

John Chow’s Make Money Online Ebook

This is the e-book that teach you the great evil skills to make money!

Kidding, of course. John Chow is a real dot com mogul of this era. Following his explosive like blog traffic spike is always fun. This is my first purely about make money online and the best book I have ever had. Well, somebody my think I’m worshiping to an evil. But it’s other’s perspective. Not my perspective. Why best money maker is an evil? That’s because people are jealous to his achievement or some kind like that.

If you think making money like John do is evil, then prepare to lose a lot of opportunities to earn money online. I always thinking about how to make money like John Chow. Following his idea may become the best advises in making money online. So, this book also become one of my reading recommendation.

Chitika’s Blog Bash

What happen when Expert’s Opinions are gather into one book? Hm, I could say that this book will be the comprehensive guide for your success! Yup, that’s what Blog Bash is.

Chitika gather up 30 expert in our blogging field to ask them to share their important lessons for us.

I read this book months ago and still re-read it several time a week to find some inspiration within the book. You should have this one if you haven’t got any.

jack Humphrey’s Authority Black Book

A black book sounds evil. But this authority black book sounds interesting!

It teach you how to get traffic by make a good use of Social Media like Digg, Netscape, StumbleUpon, etc.

Must read for everyone who love to have a spiky traffic stats in their blog.

That’s it! Well done. I have list my top favorite and top supportive e-books and share it with you. Why don’t you share me yours?

Ha! Sounds like an exorcist now! I come up with this headline of after listening some Holistic songs (fight devil, fight devil)!

A good set of attitude is important. As a blogger, facing problems that may occur along your blogging journey is your daily meal. It’s important for you to have a set of supportive Attitudes that will become your strongest weapons to fight the unwanted situation.

Problems is like a devil inside our soul. And a set of supportive attitudes will become our exorcist tools to deal with the devil.

Let’s begin with the first and the most important attitude that you should have in blogging.

Positive Mentality

This subject has been discussed before in this post. This subject is so popular nowadays. Still, many people ignore this attitude and tend to do the reverse thinking and live their life negatively.

I could see so many books and audiobooks or even a video tutorials that teach about how to change your life with positive mindset and attitude. But still, less people aware of this mentality and live in the misery of negative environment.

Think positively, don’t let the devil rule your mindset.

Thinking BIG

I believe you have heard about this title before: “The Magic of Thinking Big”. In this book, the author splashed his greatest teaches to make us Confident in our life.

Thinking Big enable you to feel extra confident about your life, your work, and your relationship. Almost every aspect of your life will be leveled-up if you can Thinking Big enough.

Thinking yourself as BIG as a Problogger with six figures income before you actually reaching the line will make the universe respond to your wishes, and your future is set at that time.

Just remember this wisdom:

“All that we are
is the result of what
we have thought.”
— Buddha

Endurance

Many sport in the world require their freshman to be able to endure hard and body killing exercise to train their body and soul.

Blogging is also like sport, anyway. It require you to be able to endure the hard and heart piercing problems before you could actually become a pro in this field.

Pro-blogger like Darren and Yaro already have a steel-solid endurance towards problems. They may looks simple from their picture, but don’t try to look down on their inner side!

Curiosity

This attitude could help your grow, but it will highly connected with the next attitude, Teachable.

Curiosity means you have the intention to grow but won’t decide if you are actually growing. The sign of curiosity is “asking a lot” in the field where people don’t ask.

What I mean is, curiosity will push you to dig more information from not only 1 source, but from several person or site that you think worth to splash with your questions.

Teachable

When you have curiosity in your mindset, you will need to be teachable to accept all advises from all sources, from all ages.

Nowadays children is super-clever. You will find a 15, 13, or even a 11 years old blogger is blogging like an expert in their field!

If you are not teachable, you will miss a lot of fresh view from a young blogger.

Challenger

Blogging is challenging hobby. if you don’t have a challenger attitude, you will not have a good improvement at all. Almost every day, new cases available for your to solve. It’s like a big puzzle waiting you to solve.

Being a challenger is easy. Just make sure to find lots of friends around the blogosphere. The challenge will automatically available for you. Every time you solve on puzzle, you will gain one “friendship” point or may be a “traffic” point.

You collect it and after a period of time, you can exchange it for the prize of “success”!

Optimistic

If you believe in what you are doing at 100%, then you should have no worry about this attitude. Why? Because you already have it!

Believing on your work will set a different energy around you which make big problem looks small!

Dare to Fail

Fail is our past. bad record is only a “record”, not the current achievement and not defining the future of our stats. ‘Dare to fail’ set you apart from eternity loser.

Why must afraid of something from the past while you have the full grasp of your present and future?

Love

Love is not as simple as man and woman hugging each other. It also can be a e-love like love between blogger. Love create a different condition around your community. A different kind of tone in your comment, without expecting any return from what you have contribute to your community, to your reader.

Your reader will respect you much and will return your love in form of their support in stumble, digg, visit, or any kind of source that could help you.

People will know your personality through your comment, whether you are full of love or just a machine-techie-freak making a comments.

Patience/Calmness

Able to calm in any situation may become a gift from God to you. Although it’s learnable, calmness is so hard to achieve by some kind of BlameCaster type of human.

Patience attitude could safe you from a lot of useless events (like quarreling with your commentator).

The rules of patience is simple:

Observes

Process

Conclusion

People tend to jump to conclusion before they observes and process the problem firmly in their perception.

Honesty

The more Cheat, Scam, Spam, or Hack available in this world, indicated the world is not as honest as before anymore. Almost everyday, you receive spam message, and scam offer. Or the worst, your wordpress is hacked by a super-hacker. It’s frustrating, but that’s the truth of life.

Less people is honest today. Lots of them is wearing a thick mask to hide their rotten devilish face. So, if you are able to honest from the bottom of your heart and make a real treat to your reader, you will easily become the lotus above the swarm!

Friendly

Being friendly is an important attitude to build goodwill community. It’s the law of attraction, anyway. Friendly people will attract friendly peoples. If you have this attitude attached on your soul, you will have no worry about the haunted community and blog that nobody want to take part in it.

Many and so many people will love your attitude and like to make friend with you. It’s not happening in one night. But overtime. Try to be as friendly as you can. I’m sure you will build a strong readership.

Selfless - reader minded

Readers are not dumb. and not idiot. They are very-very-very clever. They even could tell that your content is made for them or not by reading the first paragraph! That’s why in your analytics your will find a 10 seconds visitors!

Selfless attitude is to devote anything to reader before to yourself. But don’t get me wrong. Selfless is not mean you must sacrifice yourself! But it’s a 80:20 rule.

80 for your readers, and 20 for yourself. Believe it or not, the result will be the reverse if you could set up a good basic of that rule.

Your devotion of 80 for your reader will give you back 80 achievement. Give and take, Dale Carnegie’s Rules!

Flexible

flexibility is the attitude that we should have in any field of our life. Not limited to blogging only.

Flexibility enable you to act upon some drastic change of your work, blog, or even your life. No need to feel bad if you couldn’t flexible now. like myself, flexible is not my best attitude too! I tend to be like a stone sometimes!

But being flexible is learnable. Just need some effort from us to realize, aware and act upon it.

Believe in God

God is our Supreme source of energy to feel motivated each time when we face difficult problem. An Attitude to Believe in Him would be a blessed and Things will go smoother than regretting the life.

Put all your attention to the Supreme One, and you shall be rescued!

—-

So, have this post eliminate your devil inside your soul??

Deadline for authors is like a twin blades ready to cut their throat if they don’t finish what they should have finished before the deadline.

Deadline has become the biggest threaten for all authors in the world. But it’s also have become the most and great brain vitamins to boost inspirations.

Some peoples will works very well under a pressure of a deadline. There some extreme people who ever use this phrase to show how important a deadline is:

Make a deadline or DIE!

Well, I’m not extremist, so my thought is a little bit different. Deadline is important, but not that extreme until you must die.

The effect of Deadline

Deadline is sure a twin edge blade. If you don’t be careful when using, it may tackled your inspirations away to the moon! ;p

There are 2 side to look carefully here:

The Negative Effects

Let’s begin with something not good to hear first. negative effect of setting a deadline is spreading from mental and spiritual influences like:

Frustration

Body Resistance

Tiredness

Feeling incompetent

Attitude and Aptitude Change (especially for the BlameCaster type of human)

Health Problem (for extremist)

Generally, the very basic effect of deadline to us is frustration. Follow by Mental Tiredness and the ever decreasing body resistance to chase for the insane deadline (some deadline are just too insane sometimes), it will try to limit your thought and feel incompetent about what you are working at.

Especially for some type of peoples, you will see a clear change of attitude in facing a near to due deadline. The worst scenario is, a health problem will occur to respond to the deadline.

The Positive Effects

Positive is sure the greatest point that make people dare to take the risks above for the achievement:

Make you more creative and insightful

Boosting Motivation

Focus like a laser that could cut everything

Goal minded

Solid steel Target to chase

Being able to find great joy of achievement

Some people (including me) love to work under a pressure. That’s mean I’m not suitable for something or job that have no deadline to chase. I tend to looks like a super-dumb-dumb individual with no motivation if I have no goals to chase, no due date to fulfill.

Deadline has been my biggest motivator to finish my blogging. It allow me to focus my attention to form a laser like persistence to cut down any kind of distractions. It also will keep reminding you about the upcoming goals.

The most enjoyment in setting a deadline is to feel the extraordinary excitement when you can finish a tough projects right before the tight deadline. It’s feel so good and alive!

Why Setting Deadline?

Because deadline setting is important to pump your heart to feel urge on what you are indulging at. Many times in our life, we tend to become too relax when a jobs with no serious deadline.

Their will be 2 results happening in this case:

Result 1
You will be able to focus and finished the concept without looking at the deadline and publish your post before the deadline.

Result 2
Your are unable to focus because you don’t have an urge feeling to finish it quicker than usually, and finally you forget the task and lose your readership and some popularity around your niche.

Generally, Human is lazy. That’s why so many technology out there to help us human to be more lazy than before!

It’s just so rare to find a person who could survive in the blogging battle of writing in a daily consistency without a clear setting of deadline.

So, Is Deadline Important for You?

Well, it’s your turn to answer this question. Just make sure the deadline will not make you “dead” when chasing after it.

It’s been 6 months since the last time I land my first finger on my keyboard to type post content for my blog. Through the months, I have learned something important for me to keep blogging for the entire life.

My last three months records of post is not so good because I was having a regular blogger block every 2 days once. Oh yes, I actually counting it and I was squeezing my head every 2 days once. ;p

Luckily, I found Darren’s Post via Brian Heys about battling blogger block.

I found that post, I love it, I printed it to a A4 papers and I read it everyday since that time. Finally, I’m able to make things better. I managed to crystallize the tips and found a good idea stimulators tool for creating more content.

I will share you my top 3 Idea Stimulators in battling blogger block below.

Books

It’s obvious, and it’s clear that most of our inspiration is coming from books. But don’t go nuts with it. Reading more than your brain can digest will not find you fresh ideas, but it will hurt you psychologically.

There is a study that said human can maintain a very good focus and concentration in the first 15 minutes. You will memorize and understand almost everything in the first 15 minutes. After that, your thinking will become blur as the concentration is begin to break slowly.

I tend to read about 15 minutes x 5 times a day. I do it with a regular schedule like:

When wake up from bed (after a little jog and exercise)

When Queuing in the crowded line (for example: in Bank)

Lunch time

Noon (after going back from office)

Night time before sleep

Make a good use every 15 minutes and you can read and understand 1 book of 300 pages in 3 days.

Blogs

Blogs is another great resources for idea stimulation. You build blog and you should read blogs. Find any kind of topic-related blogs and find what they are doing at. You can actually continue someone’s half-discussed topic as your new post and link to him/her to make some friend.

Another resources of me when finding idea online is through stumbleupon and digg.

Stumbleupon have a ‘channel stumble’ feature. It allow me to stumble for content of my choice which is thumbs up by other user to find idea for my post.

Btw, if you have a stumble account, please add me as your friend list. My account is kenxu.stumbleupon.com. I will stumble any kind of good post that will educate me and other blogger. Feel free to send me your request.
watch out: willing to stumble only good post. Post like sponsored review, hard-pitch selling post or any kind of non-educative post will not get any thumbs up from me. Sorry.

Digg also one of my favorite idea digging tool. thousands and thousands of stories ready for you to combine, renew, modified or even squeeze some essence of ideas.

Other optional resources: Megite and Techmeme.

Babbles

I found babbles or conversations between blogger is not always about relationship, but it’s also about finding new topic and idea for your upcoming post.

Believe it or not, our daily conversation with family & friends will stimulate new topics of discussion for you to blog about.

Of course, not all conversation is good and will stimulate new idea for you. A talk like neighborhood gossips won’t help you a lot.

The conversation is including online chatting with friends too. It’s not limited to a face to face conversation. Sometime an one-way conversation like email also will help, only it’s less effective than immediate response conversation like chatting and one-on-one talking.

Chatting is my daily activities with some best blogger friends of mine. If you would like, You can join my conversation at my GTalk account (kenxu89) or add me to your friend list.

Conversation with my ‘kind-blogger-friends’ produce me a lot of new idea. The easiest way to find idea in conversation is through a “whining” or “disappointment” in your conversation.

Example?

“Oh Ken, I don’t have any clue about Wordpress Plugin.”

“That’s suck! The sitemap generator is so hard to install.”

“Oh, I’m having a blogger’s block today. I wonder how could I handle this matter.”

Let’s take the second example about sitemap generator. You may notice that other people have post about it, and not only one, but lots of them.

It’s unwise to try to write the repetitive content. In my personal experience, I would try to escape a little from the main idea (but not off-topic) but still have the sitemap generator discussed.

Try to modify the existing idea into a wider focus:

SEO your blog by laying a Blue Print ( Blue Print = Archives page, Sitemap Page and XML sitemap)

How to Make your blog more visible to Search Engine (Include Sitemap generator as one of the point in the discussion)

Or try to narrow the focus of the existing idea:

Dummy Detail Guide to Code your Own XML Sitemap

How Sitemap Generator will help you generate more customer

Above is just an example. I think it’s not simple if you have no deep knowledge in the field. That’s why you should blogging on what you like, or where your passion is on.

Only with that way, you could turn a dust into a gold.

Blogging have been my toughest hobbies, and sometimes, I blamed on my God on my bad achievements. Oh, I hope my Lord would forgive what I have done to Him….

Have you ever regret of the condition of your blog? And suddenly, another blogger just coming up with the same topic as your blog and become successful faster than you?

Well, don’t be.

It’s all about our blogging pace. Blogging Pace is your speed of growth in blogging. Everybody have their own speed in blogging. Don’t regret if your pace is slower than anybody else.

Just keep in mind the story of “Rabbit and Turtle race“.

But don’t get me wrong. No all fast pace blogger is a cocky rabbit.

Those bloggers are just ‘in the luck’ or they have a past experiences about blogging and could make a good use of nowadays technologies to boost their stats faster than yours.

Being a turtle is not bad at all. You should realize that as long as you keep crawling, your will arrive at your destination. Just put some patience in it. And you will be happy with your future achievement.

I’ve been following some blogger who really have a ‘very’ fast pace.

Ramkarthik from bloggingtune.com is one of them. I’m really proud of his achievement. In less than 1 month, he manage to generate 3500+ visitors to his blog with the support of nowadays technology.

Compare my stats and his for 15 days achievement, oh… It’s hell and heaven! soo faaarr!

If you feel that you are a ‘turtle’ too. Join me in the story!

Ramkarthik is a fast rabbit, and me is a slow turtle. But something has make story different. It’s the attitude of modern human and “we are not in the classic story anymore!”

The recent ‘rabbits’ is very kind already. They will not as cocky as the story. They will teach ‘Turtle’ how to run faster, or even set up a jet pack for turtle to buzz ahead!

As a Turtle, I need to be ‘teachable’ too! Accepting help from rabbit, and learn from rabbit on how to ‘jump’ in the race. If I could ‘jump’, I could set up momentums to keep jumping along the race, and reach the finish line quicker!

What I mean ‘jump’ is illustrated in this picture (inspired by problogger.net)

Imagine turtle can jump, we could really make things faster!

Each Jump will generate more traffic, and more subscriber to your blog using nowadays technology like stumbleupon, digg, netscape and reddit.

No deep discussion about them here. I think those quick rabbits have set up a nice ‘jumping’ strategies to help turtle stop crawling and start jumping!

Make sure to not become a shy turtle too. Shy turtle won’t achieve anything if it just keep hiding in the shell. Turtle need to go out from shell and start running in the race.

Hopefully, Turtle and Rabbit could reach the goal together faster, hand by hand, and celebrate the race together!

~ The End ~

The wisdom is this story:

Follow your own pace

Be teachable

Seek for modern technology to help your blog

Don’t stubborn

Ask for expert help if you don’t know what to do
