Do You Keyword Research?

Keyword research or Keyword Brainstorming is an activity to find lucrative niche market on the web. It’s very important to find out which keywords are profitable to lay down your blog on it.

Building your blog or website on a highly saturated market will cost you time, energy and money to build a proper popularity and visibility.

If you are a new blogger or you’ve just start to know about Internet marketing, you would probably confused by the word “Niche”.

Let me give you some simplest meaning to help your brain digest it well. :)

Niche Market is a profitable market that hidden in a long tail keywords.

Example of niche market?

Well, let’s use “computer” as the subject. The lucrative niche market is not located on the keyword “computer”. You will struggle to death if your target is in this keyword.

The lucrative niche market is on the longtail of “computer”. like cheap computer component is one of many longtail of “computer”.

But you must be careful because not all tail is lucrative!! Make sure to do a proper research before doing any serious market targeting.

The common tool to research long tail keywords for your blog is using Yahoo’s keyword suggestion tool (previous: Overture). This tool is one of many tools that will show you the count of monthly searches by users. It’s pretty useful for beginner.

It’s a critical mistake for a business bloggers to forget about keyword brainstorming. Because if they target a niche market by doing a proper keyword research at the beginning, things will go easier, more profitable, and will get a high conversion rate for the product they are selling at.

On the next post, I will let you know my daily use research tool to dig some lucrative Niche market. This post is just an introduction for the next post. The purpose it to help beginner who have no previous experience in internet or blog marketing to understand why keyword research will help a lot. :)
